The thesis project “Urbs Salvia – Parco Archeologico” deals with the enhancement of the homonymous park located in Urbisaglia town, located in the Marche hinterland. The design concept is based on a new way of admiring the ancient Roman ruins. From fragments of history, the monuments become essential bases for the realization of a complex system of anamorphosis. Through different observation posts, the user can experiment the importance of perspective and admire the actual size of some of the monuments still partially visible. This is possible thanks to the intersection of information present on site and the use of some faithful 3D reconstructions already in possession of the Superintendence. The fragments are the protagonists, also, of the graphic development where the focus is the creation of a dedicated and distinctive typeface.
