Ellaquadro starts a new partnership with STA, an architecture studio based in Milan and Qian Neng, designer based in Shanghai.

Asrin Sanguanwongwan

An architect originally from Bangkok, Thailand. In 2013 he graduated from Chulalongkorn University. From 2013-2019 he worked as an architect at “allzone”, an architectural practice based in Bangkok. The studio focused on lightweight intervention projects and architecture built for tropical climate. During his time at “allzone”, he worked as a leading architect for MAIIAM contemporary art museum project in Chiangmai, Thailand (2016), and several design projects for exhibitions shown in the same museum (for example Patani Semasa and Diaspora Exit, Exile, Exodus). He is currently living in Milan where he, together with Petra Tikulin started an architectural / design practice ST Architecture. They have currently involved in a few residential and office projects as well as some challenging exhibition designs.

Petra Tikulin

Croatian born architect who spent most of her professional life moving between Croatia and Italy; Venice, where she studied, Zagreb where she worked at Attelior design practice and Milan where she engaged in a Master Course and is currently living and working. In recent years she gained experience mostly in hospitality architecture/interior design and exhibition design. She teaches Design Methodology at NABA (Nuova Accademia Di Belle Arti di Milano). She met Asrin Sanguanwongwan in 2017, during a collective exhibition in Triennale di Milano (999 questions on contemporary living) which she co-designed and managed. At the begining of 2020, they started to collaborate and opened ST Architecture studio. At this moment, apart from the studio projects, they are collaborating with different colleagues on various projects related to exhibition design and cultural activities.

Qian Neng

Chinese born industrial designer, he graduated from Politecnico di Milano with a master’s degree in “Product Design for Innovation”. He worked several years in Milan as a product and interior designer in various design studios such as Stefano Giovannoni Design Studio, Mark Sadler Design Studio and Total Tool Milano, at the same time he worked as a promoter for Sino-Italian collaborations and university projects where he built strong relationships with Italian design studios and Chinese companies.At the moment he is living in China collaborating with the “International Design Research Center of Taicang Yangtze River Delta Research Institute” and the “NPU” (Northwestern Poly-technical University), developing product design projects and researching material and technology for the development and finalization of products. Among his various fields of action we can find Eco-design and public art.
